Needed some fettling with a knife to remove some plastic from the clips to make everything fit right. the trap door wasn't balanced correctly, but i could make it work with a couple of coins and double sided tape. i did find a bucket with the right diameter, but i think it's not going to be deep enough for rats. i think that is going to be a problem if you're in europe, where buckets aren't typically 30cm in diameter. the plastic isn't as brittle as i imagined it would be and i'm glad it all arrived without breaking. for the price, i can work with this.
