COMMON QUESTIONS
Product safety FAQ
Report products that may cause injury, electric shock, fire, choking, poisoning or another health or safety risk, as well as missing warnings, suspected counterfeits or products subject to a recall.
Include the product name, seller, order number if available, model or batch details, photographs of the product and label, and a clear description of the risk or incident. Keep photographs ready and use an approved evidence-sharing method provided by support.
Sibro can preserve the report, review the listing, request evidence from the seller, restrict the offer, notify affected customers and cooperate with the appropriate authority where required.
When Sibro receives reliable recall information connected to an order, affected customers may receive an account or contact notification with the action to take. Also follow official Safety Gate and manufacturer notices.
Follow the recall notice rather than ordinary return instructions. The notice should explain whether to stop use, disconnect, dispose of or return the product and what remedy is available.
No single mark replaces careful product checks. A CE mark indicates a manufacturer’s conformity declaration for products covered by relevant EU rules; sellers must still meet all applicable safety and traceability duties.
If you suspect a safety risk, stop using the product and keep it away from children and other people who could be harmed. Do not test or repair it yourself. Follow the manufacturer or recall instructions; for immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Compare the notice with the brand, model, batch or serial number and any purchase dates shown on your item, packaging or order. Similar-looking products may belong to different batches. If you are unsure, contact the seller or Sibro with the identifiers and avoid using an item you suspect is unsafe.
Yes. Use Report to Sibro and include the listing link, seller name, product identifiers and a clear explanation of the concern. State that you have not purchased it and distinguish what you observed from what you suspect.
Seek appropriate medical or emergency help first. When it is safe, keep the product, packaging, order details and relevant records, and describe the incident accurately to the seller and Sibro. Do not handle damaged batteries or other hazardous materials to collect evidence; follow official safety guidance.
Concerned about a product?
Send the listing or order details and explain the risk. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
