Sellers must act lawfully, honestly and professionally at every stage of the customer journey. Account, business, tax, payment and contact information must remain accurate and current.
- Use only the seller account and legal business identity approved by Sibro
- Cooperate with verification, compliance and marketplace-safety checks
- Respond to Sibro and customers respectfully and without unreasonable delay
- Keep appropriate records supporting listings, orders, invoices and product compliance
Each listing must enable a customer to understand exactly what is being offered, who sells it, the total price and any material limitations before purchase.
- Use accurate titles, descriptions, images, specifications, condition and availability
- Identify the correct brand, manufacturer, model, country of origin and responsible economic operator where required
- Display warnings, instructions, ingredients, allergens, age limits and safety information relevant to the product
- Do not create duplicate, misleading, keyword-stuffed or incorrectly categorised listings
3. Authentic, lawful and safe products
Sellers may offer only authentic products that they are legally entitled to sell in every destination where the offer is available. Required conformity, traceability and safety evidence must be maintained and supplied promptly.
- Never sell counterfeit, stolen, recalled, unsafe, prohibited or illegally imported products
- Stop sales immediately when a credible safety or compliance concern arises
- Cooperate with corrective actions, customer notices, withdrawals and recalls
- Do not alter identifiers, expiry dates, safety markings or compliance documents
4. Fair prices and promotions
Prices, delivery charges, discounts, taxes and recurring-purchase terms must be clear, accurate and not deceptive. Any reference price or savings claim must have a legitimate basis.
- Do not artificially inflate a prior price to create a false discount
- Do not coordinate prices, divide customers or otherwise interfere with fair competition
- Honour the price and promotion confirmed in an accepted order unless a lawful cancellation reason applies
- Never add undisclosed fees after checkout
5. Inventory, fulfilment and delivery
Sellers must maintain reliable stock information, prepare products safely and dispatch within the handling time promised to the customer.
- Confirm stock before accepting orders and prevent repeated avoidable cancellations
- Use suitable packaging and an accurate shipping label
- Provide valid tracking when the selected service supports it
- Do not mark an order as dispatched before it has been handed to the carrier
6. Customer service, returns and refunds
Customer questions and post-purchase problems must be handled fairly, promptly and in accordance with the customer’s statutory rights and the published Sibro policies.
- Communicate through approved Sibro channels and keep a clear record
- Provide applicable cancellation, withdrawal, guarantee, repair, replacement and refund remedies
- Do not pressure, threaten or discriminate against a customer seeking help
- Issue approved refunds without undue delay and provide legally required invoices
7. Reviews, search and marketplace integrity
Sellers must not manipulate reviews, search visibility, sales rank, recommendations or other marketplace signals.
- Never buy, fabricate, incentivise or coordinate misleading reviews
- Do not ask customers to remove negative feedback in exchange for a benefit
- Do not click, order or interact with listings to distort performance
- Do not impersonate another seller, customer, brand or Sibro representative
8. Customer data and secure communication
Personal data received through Sibro may be used only for legitimate order fulfilment, customer service and legal obligations. Sellers are responsible for appropriate confidentiality and security.
- Never use customer information for unsolicited marketing or sell it to another party
- Do not request passwords, complete card details or unnecessary identity documents
- Never divert customers to unapproved or unsafe payment methods
- Report suspected data loss, account compromise or fraud to Sibro promptly
9. Conflicts, influence and platform misuse
Sellers must not offer improper benefits, evade fees or misuse Sibro systems, staff, customers or other sellers.
- Do not bribe or attempt to improperly influence Sibro staff or contractors
- Do not move a Sibro transaction off-platform to avoid fees or protections
- Do not interfere with another seller’s listings, inventory, account or reputation
- Do not use automated access, malicious code or false reports to disrupt the marketplace
10. Monitoring and enforcement
Sibro may review marketplace activity and request information needed to protect customers, sellers and legal compliance. Depending on seriousness, history and risk, action may include education, listing removal, payment reserve where lawful, account restriction or suspension.
- Immediate protective action may be taken for urgent safety, fraud or legal risk
- Sellers must complete required corrective actions within the stated time
- Repeated, deliberate or severe violations may lead to permanent account closure
- Relevant information may be preserved or shared with competent authorities where legally required
11. Notice, explanation and appeal
Where applicable, Sibro will provide the seller with a reason for a restriction or enforcement decision and information about available review options. Sellers should appeal through Seller Central with relevant facts and supporting documents.
- Appeals must be truthful, specific and submitted within any stated deadline
- A different reviewer should assess the available evidence where practicable
- Successful appeals may restore affected listings or account access
- Contact Sibro support if you need an accessible way to submit information
12. Keeping this code current
This Code forms part of the rules for selling on Sibro and should be read with the Seller Agreement, product-safety rules, prohibited-products policy and applicable law. Sibro may update it as the marketplace, services or legal requirements develop; material changes should be communicated in advance where required.
